Forever Wear Extensions Origins

Virgin Indian Remy Hair:

Collected from the Tiraptu temples in Southern Asia where women go to donate their hair for spiritual and religious purposes, Indian hair is the most accessible and versatile hair available. Naturally fine to medium in thickness, this hair is normally dark in color yet is easily color-lifted to blonde and other, lighter hair tones. Indian Hair is also naturally thick and straight and is great for straight, shiny and sleek hairstyles. It is available in curly, wavy, and straight styles and blends in great with many individual’s natural hair textures. Anti-frizz products are recommended in areas where humidity is high.

Virgin Brazilian Remy Hair:

Brazilian Hair is hair donated from women of the small and rural places within Brazil and is currently the most in-demand hair texture on the market for many reasons. Brazilian Hair is genetically diverse but tends to be natural and shiny in appearance and is very versatile, thick and durable, yet soft and smooth to the touch. This hair also tends to blend in with most individual’s natural hair textures and does not require any special maintenance. It is available in curly, wavy, and straight styles and often holds curls longer than Indian Hair.

Virgin Peruvian Remy Hair:

Peruvian Hair originates from the women of the remote villages of Peru who have donated their hair and tends to be thicker and course in texture than Brazilian and Malaysian Hair. A true and ultimately multipurpose hair, its soft and lightweight qualities allow a highly manageable and feathery, natural, luxurious and voluminous look. It is available in curly, wavy, and straight styles and is very versatile in each style.

Virgin Malaysian Remy Hair:

Malaysian Hair originates from the women of Malaysian descent who have donated their hair to Malaysian temples for religious or financial purposes. More dense, thick, heavier, softer, shinier, and silkier than Indian Hair. It is great if you are you looking for a natural wavy or curly look. It is available in curly, wavy, and straight styles.

Human Hair vs. Synthetic Hair Extension

Hair extensions can be made from human hair, animal hair, and synthetic fibers. Everyone from celebrities to everyday people rock hair extensions. There’s no question as to why the hair business is a billion-dollar industry. People spend thousands of dollars a year on their hair. Before purchase your hair, extensions do research to understand what look you are wanted to achieve. Hair can be used as fullers to thinning hair, for protective styles, fashion, and create new look instantly. Also, knowing the expectations of the hair is essential. Both human hair and synthetic hair have advantages and disadvantages between them. How to know which is right for you?

Human Hair is natural-looking, feels like actual hair, and the movement is incredible. Remy hair you’ll hear all over place, but what does Remy mean? It means all the cuticles are facing in the same direction (downward) which contributes to its natural healthy look and will not matte or tangle. Take a look at the picture below you can see the hair strand on the right is how healthy hair should look cuticles. The hair strand on the left is what damaged hair cuticles look like.

Human extensions fall on the pricey side of the spectrum as opposed to synthetic hair. If you are seeking versatility with a natural look this is the best hair for you. What makes it worth the investment is its quality, durability, and longevity. The quality of human hair extensions is its soft silky texture, shine, movement, and versatility. Hair can be styled with a curling iron, blow-dryer, hot roller or flat iron, dyed, and other styling products. The life span of your human extensions can vary depending on how you care for them. Yaki and Straight extensions can last for 1 to 2 years or more with proper care. Curly and wavy are about 3 to 6 months or more with proper care. Upkeeps on extensions should be regularly scheduled every 4 to 6 six weeks depending on one’s lifestyle.

Synthetic Hair is made up of synthetic fibers coated with a silicone which gives it an un-natural shine and soft feel. This type of hair is easier on your wallet and great if you’re seeking a low maintenance quick style. Technological advances have gotten in changing the fibers of the hair given them a more natural look. However, synthetic extensions lack flexibility and tangles easily. Even the ones that state heat friendly tends to change the texture and look of the hair. Synthetic hair can have a life span of 1 to 3 months with proper care, but eventually will matte especially in the nape area. Washing and brushing the hair causes the silicone coating to breakdown which will shorten it use.

Here’s a funny but sad story, if you were like me many years ago you’ll understand what I’m talking about. I used to spend lots of money on synthetic hair hey it’s cheap I get it. The problem was I did not quit understand the meaning of the word synthetic it had the word hair on the packaged and came already colored I was getting. Tried changing the look of the hair was extremely difficult hint: Lacks Versatility. Appling heat only caused the hair to melt and matte. Washing and conditioning was pointless all that did was cause the strands to stiffen and matte. Regular hair products did not recreate the fabulous shine and soft texture the hair had it had when I first purchased it. My once beautiful synthetic extensions always turned into a dry looking rat nest. Not cute at all! money down the drain. Lucky, I grew smarter and did more research on the different types of hair extensions and which ones best suited the look I was going for.

Most people prefer extensions because they are great for protective styles, saving time on styling, or let you change your looks instantly. Being educated on the difference between human and synthetic hair extensions, will help you determine which is right for you. for so you’ll understand what the expectations are on the product you’re getting. Overall, you’ll save a lot of time and money in the end.

Of course, Bedazzle Hair Sista would recommend you purchasing our 100% Pure Virgin Remy Human Extensions. We only obtain raw virgin remy hair directly cut from pony tails so all of the cuticles are facing the same direction. (This way the hair won’t turn into a rat’s nest after you wash it… if you have bought low quality hair before then you know what I mean YIKES!)

We seal all hair wefts with glue, so when you are running a brush through your hair it does not leave the floor looking like someone just shaved your head… and it keeps the wefts thin to make the hair easier to weave and lay flat. (Your stylist will thank you)

Define Your Look

Hey Sista, today we wanted to educate you on the types of Virigin Hair Weaves.

First of all, regardless of what type of virgin hair that you buy, Bedazzle Hair has taken proper care during the harvesting of the hair from the donor and while wefting the hair. There will be very minimal tangling and/or shedding.

Finding the right hair can be tricky. This is why Bedazzle Sista would like to educate you on types of Virgin Hair Weaves that will best define your look.

If you are starting out, we highly recommend going with Virgin Brazilian because it blends easily with many hair textures, is very durable, straightens easily (if you use a flat iron) and holds curls for a long time.

Virgin Brazilian Remy– This is our best selling type of virgin hair because not only is it very soft, very durable, it is also ideal for a full look, as the Brazilian hair has a thick hair strand. Virgin Brazilian hair is also very easy to blend with for African Americans regardless of their natural hair texture. We highly recommend Virgin Brazilian for women who have relaxed hair or are transitioning to their natural hair and need something that looks natural on them. Because of it’s density, Virgin Brazilian will hold curls for a long time as well.

Virgin Malaysian Remy- It is very light weight and soft. It is our second most popular type of virgin remy after the Virgin Brazilian Remy. Virgin Malaysian is silkier than Brazilian Remy. It blends very well with African American hair and also the hair of people of Asian heritage. It is also very popular with celebrities such as Beyonce.

Virgin Peruvian Remy– This is our silkiest virgin remy that we offer and it is popular for people that are looking for natural straight or relaxed yaki hair textures. It is also very light and you can easily wear many bundles without it weighing down your head. It does not swell too much and it straightens very easily when a flat iron is used.

Virgin Indian Remy– Virgin Indian remy is hair that is donated to Indian temples and the donors are usually from India. Virgin Indian remy is very versatile and easily blends with African American, Caucasian and Asian hair textures. It is more course than both Virgin Peruvian Remy and Virgin Malaysian Remy.
